The Kentucky Wildcats travel to the Derby City to take on Commonwealth rival the Louisville Cardinals in the annual Governor’s Cup. Kick-off from Cardinal Stadium is at 12:30 p.m. Pacific.

August SEC Happy Hour

Please join other SEC Bay Area alumni to kickoff the 2012 football season with other SEC Alumni and friends on Thursday, August 30. Three SEC schools will be playing that day. South Carolina at Vanderbilt and newcomer to the SEC Texas A&M will be playing Louisiana Tech. Both games and others will be on.

The games start at 4 p.m. (South Carolina at Vanderbilt) and 4:30 p.m. (Texas A&M), so the event starts at 4 p.m., but we know some of you will not be able to make it until after work.

Student Send-off & Summer Picnic

Join local UK alumni, future and current students and their families for our annual Student Send-off and Summer Picnic.  Burgers, hot dogs and the fixings will be provided as well as water and tea.  Please bring a side dish to share, your favorite beverages, blankets and folding chairs.  Yard games are welcome.  A pool and hot tub will also be available.

We are pleased that incoming UK freshmen and families will be in attendance. So come share your UK experiences with our newest Wildcats.
