A Big Blue thank you to all who participated in the Northern California UK Alumni Club’s scholarship drive these past few weeks.  The Club met its goal and will be sending back to Lexington, $500 for the Club’s scholarship fund.

However, it seems that the lucky winner of the Wildcat Statue was not present at the drawing this past Sunday (03.25).  The winning ticket number is 592052.  If you have the winner ticket, please contact Tom Pasco at tompasco@ukalumni.net.

If the holder of the winning ticket does not come forward by Saturday, March 31st, there will be another drawing at half time of UK’s game this Saturday.  All those in attendance on Saturday will receive one ticket and must be present at the time of the drawing.

The #1 Seed Kentucky Wildcats (36-2) take on Commonwealth Rival the #4 Seed Louisville Cardinals (30-9) in the 2012 NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four in New Orleans.  The Final Four semifinal game tip-offs from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome at 3:09 p.m. Pacific.

With a win, the Wildcats advance to the NCAA Championship on Monday, April 2nd versus the winner of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Kansas Jayhawks game.  Monday’s tip-off is at 6 p.m. Pacific.

With a win, the Wildcats advance to the South Region Final on Sunday, March 25th versus the winner of the #3 Seed Baylor Bears and #10 Seed Xavier Musketeers.  The Elite Eight tip-off is still to be determined.
